The Ensenberger building at 212 N Center Street is a classic building in the center of downtown Bloomington, Illinois.
The colorful terra-cotta medallions and ornate indoor decorations make the seven-story an attractive addition to the city.
In 2008 the original 1910 building plus the 1926 seven-story addition was re-opened as a residential condo complex.

Move-In Day
Contact someone on board to let them know your move-in day. They will get the moving pads put up in the elevator. It is a good idea to arrive very early on move-in day to secure a parking spot immediately in front of the building. By 7:30 am most spots out front are still open and by 8:30 am are filling in again. As they say, the early bird ...........

Documents: parking maps, (indoor or outdoor parking depends on the unit you expect to purchase) association meeting agendas and minutes, governance documents, building maintenance vendors, FAQs (great resource for new residents), etc.
Calendar: Calendar for building party room reservations, association meetings, etc.
Directory: Directory of residents with photos and contact information.
Utilities
Electric: Ameren
Internet: Metronet or Xfinity or Tmobil ( the association is negotiating a Metronet building-wide contract)
Gas, water, and trash is currently managed by the association and included in your association fees.
Building Access
The front door uses PDK pass keys. There is also a PDK mobile app you can use as well.
Keys operate the back door and condo units.
Use your own lock for the storage unit.
Phone Access to the Building
A board member will program your phone into the panel at the front door. When someone enters your unit number on the access panel at the front door, your cell phone will be called. You can let the person enter by #9.

Recyclables and composting information is available through the Ecology Action Center located on W. College Avenue in Normal, making disposal of those items easy and convenient. The Citizens Convenience Center located just a few blocks away on East St. takes the aggravation out of disposing of those items too big or unwieldy for the building’s trash chute and dumpster.
Groceries
Member’s owned, Green Top food coop, at 921 E. Washington St. is just a few blocks east of The Ensenberger and is a way to get your groceries, many organic and locally grown, without the endurance test of mammoth grocery stores, although there are plenty of those options available as well within walking and easy driving distances.
Bank
PNC bank 2 or 3 blocks east on Washington St. makes banking close, easy and convenient. Their services are friendly and they support a variety of socially conscious causes. The Heartland Bank is on the other side of the Court House and provides excellent service.
